Sarah Fisher, IRL driver, lapped the Indianapolis circuit in 2002 driving a F1 McLaren car, previously to the U.S. G.P.
Sarah Fisher currently competes in the Indy Racing League. She made history by being the youngest driver ever in IRL racing, when she made her debut at 19 years of age in 1999.
Sarah Fisher is the third woman to qualify for and race in the Indianapolis 500 (the first was Janet Guthrie, who finished 9th in 1979).
Sarah Fisher's best race finish so far is a second place (Homestead-Miami). She finished 18th the 2002 IRL Championship (Dreyer&Reinbold), and 19th in 2001 (Walker).
