While Formula One takes a break, at the end of the 2002 Season, a few traditional competitions have their turn: the 49th F3 Grand-Prix of Macau and the 6th Granja Viana 500 Mile Kart Race in São Paulo, Brazil.
Great names in the auto-racing scenario are connected to both competitions. The Grand-Prix of Macau has often included drivers that will later join the F1 scenario, whereas the Granja Viana 500 attracts renouned participants from a number of different racing series and categories, all of whom love karting, as well as the friendly atmosphere traditional of Granja Viana, which exists side by side with the strong competition among all participants.
