9. How do I use MieNet's Motor Racing Icon Libraries on TreePad?
If your copy of allows for the use of icon libraries other than the default, it is indeed very simple to load and use the icon library <mienet_motor_racing.tpz>. all you need to do is to
- place the file <mienet_motor_racing.tpz> in your TreePad directory
- click on the Icons Tab (so that the icons and the corresponding Icons Menu becomes visible)
- click on the Icons Menu
- click on the menu item Open icon library
- choose the file <mienet_motor_racing.tpz> in your treepad directory, and click on the button 'Open' or press the 'Enter' key on your keyboard.
That's all! MieNet's motor racing icon library will be loaded in your TreePad Icons Pane, ready to be used.
Now, if your copy of does not allow for the use of an icon library other than the default, what goes below should be very useful to you.
How do you know whether or not your copy of allows you to use an icon library of your choice, in addition?
Just please click on the Icons Tab (so the corresponding Menu becomes visible) and then click on the Icons Menu. If all you see, as you pull down the Menu, are choices for Adding, Deleting and Downloading icons, then you do need to read the current FAQ section.
(But before you get started, why don't you take a minute to check on the for your version of TreePad? Maybe all you'll need to do is to update your program.)
You are given two alternatives in this section: one that is fine for any PC user, the other meant for more advanced PC users.

You do not have to be a computer wizard to use the second alternative, though. You just need to be able to manage your PC with ease, so you know precisely what you are doing. If you do, it is all very simple; otherwise, you could mess up your original directory or icons file -- which you obviously do not wish to do.
So, please only choose the second alternative if you understand it clearly and feel you can manage it all with ease.

has been given a copy of these and many other icons coming out on MieNet (close to 20,000 icons distributed among 27 large Icon Libraries -- you can see/download them here).
Now, as a token of appreciation for many years of use of this great software, MieNet has allowed also to offer any of MieNet's icon libraries to their users. Accordingly, all of MieNet's libraries are being issued in two formats: a zipped library and a tpz (TreePad-compatible) library.
should of course be issuing their own instructions regarding the use of MieNet's icon libraries with their software. This is not MieNet's responsibility. Please see the Important Note included in the current FAQ.
